Die vierte Ausstellung zeigt neue Werke des Schweizer Künstlers Daniele Buetti. Er wirft ­darin einen Blick auf die Irrungen und ­Wirrungen der Kommunikation auf Smartphones, welche unseren heutigen Alltag grundlegend mitbestimmen.

TABLEAU ZURICH ist ein neuer Ort für visuelle Kunst im öffentlichen Raum. Er befindet sich in unmittelbarer Nähe von Bellevue, Bahnhof Stadelhofen und Kunsthaus Zürich. Es werden pro Jahr zwei Ausstellungen gezeigt, welche 365 Tage im Jahr frei zugänglich sind.

The fourth exhibition shows new works by Swiss artist Daniele Buetti. He takes a look at the trials and ­tribulations of smartphone commu­nication and the smartphones’ fundamental ­influence on our every- day lives.

TABLEAU ZURICH is a new place for visual art in a public area. It is located in the immediate proximity of Bellvue, Stadelhofen train station and Kunsthaus Zurich. There will be two exhibitions per annum, which will be open to the public 365 days a year.

ÜBER DEN KÜNSTLER

Buetti (1955) ist ein ­Schweizer bildender Künstler, der sich in verschiedenen Medien, hauptsächlich Installation und Intervention, ausdrückt. Seine Arbeit umfasst Fotografie, ­Video, Sound, Zeichnung, Skulptur sowie digital-assistierte Medien. Seit 2004 ist er ­Professor an der Kunst­akademie Münster. Er lebt und arbeitet in Zürich.

 

ABOUT THE ARTIST

Buetti (1955) is a visual artist who expresses himself through various media, but mainly through installations and interventions. His work comprises photo­graphy, video, sound, drawings, sculpture and digitally assisted media. He has been a professor at the Kunst­akademie Münster since 2004. He lives and works in Zurich.

The concept of TABLEAU for art in public spaces can be applied to many places all over the world. Hints to unused advertisement space, large wall spaces or the like are always welcome. We would also appreciate offers to cooperate on other continents.
